Hua Hin Songkran festival 2026: full event schedule

Hua Hin Songkran festival 2026 will see Hua Hin City Municipality host a full day of festivities from noon until midnight.

This year’s Songkran festival will take place on 12–13 April 2026 at Phon King Phet Park and along Damnoen Kasem Road, with the following programme:

Sunday 12 April 2026

  • 12:00–16:00 – Performances by youth bands from Hua Hin (Hua Hin Wittayalai School and Hua Hin School)
  • 16:00–18:00 – Traditional games, including the “Phi Phung Tai” cultural performance from the Hua Hin Local Wisdom Learning Centre, followed by the official opening ceremony, live music and DJs

Monday 13 April 2026

  • 10:00 – Water-pouring ceremony for the Buddha image Phra Phuttha Sihing and other sacred Buddha images, along with the traditional blessing ceremony for elders
  • 12:00–12:50 – Youth band performance from Hua Hin Wittayakhom School
  • 12:30 – Procession of Phra Phuttha Sihing, Luang Pho Nak and the Songkran Lady parade, including the sprinkling of holy water blessed by Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara

The celebrations will continue with DJs and live music for a full 12 hours.

Festival highlights also include:

  • A water tunnel covering more than 1,000 square metres
  • A large water park zone with slides over four metres high
  • A 200-square-metre foam party zone
  • A food market featuring Hua Hin’s well-known local dishes

Visitors are invited to join in the celebrations and enjoy Songkran in Hua Hin.
