Attractions and Places to Visit in Hua Hin

As Hua Hin is a royal town and Thailand’s oldest beach resort, it’s no surprise that it’s steeped in history and filled with charm. Once a quiet fishing village, Hua Hin rose to prominence in the 1920s when the Thai royal family chose it as their seaside retreat. This royal connection gave the town an air of elegance that remains to this day.

If you take the time out to hunt some of these down, you will better understand the country, the people and the culture.
Today's visitor to Hua Hin will still sense this special atmosphere and old world charm. Hua Hin has weathered the onslaught of modern development and construction far better than all other resorts of Thailand. The central town around the temple and toward the beach is free of high-rise construction with the exception of the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.

Besides sun-filled days on the long beach there are leisure activities for the whole family from watersports (especially kiteboarding has become popular in recent years) to golf. The area around the town let's you discover fabulous parks and peaks, caves and waterfalls.
