A new tennis and pickleball facility in Hua Hin has opened its doors to players, adding to the town’s growing range of sports and recreation options.
Sports Life Hua Hin, located in Thap Thai just off Soi 112, is now operating daily from 6am to 10pm.
The venue features four ITF Class 4 tennis courts and two pickleball courts, all fully undercover, allowing play throughout the day regardless of weather conditions. Operators say there are also plans to expand the number of pickleball courts in the future in response to rising demand. Male and female changing facilities are available on site, while a café is also due to open soon.
Sports Life Hua Hin is situated a short drive from the town centre. Drivers heading along Soi 112 can turn right at the traffic lights at the top of the road, with the facility located a few hundred metres further along on the right-hand side.
Pickleball, widely described as the world’s fastest-growing sport, has seen a noticeable increase in popularity in Hua Hin in recent years. The sport was first developed in the United States in 1965 as a family-friendly activity combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Played with solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball, it is known for being easy to learn, social in nature and suitable for players of different ages and fitness levels.
The addition of a new dedicated tennis and pickleball facility in Hua Hin is another reflection of the interest in active lifestyles and community-based sport, particularly among expatriates and visiting tourists.
With its undercover courts and extended opening hours, Sports Life Hua Hin is expected to attract both casual players and those seeking more structured training or competitive play.
